Halifax miracle..

it was a miracle we drove through Dartmouth and Halifax didn't know what any of the signs meant and came out the other side on the highway we had hoped for. I'm not exaggerating.  2 more nights in provincial parks. towns, Bridgewater,  Sable river,  Yarmouth,  Digby, in our rear view mirror. tonight in a walmart in North side of Nova Scotia.  Tomorrow we might make a run for the Bay of Fundy National Park over in New  Brunswick.  We like the coastal roads but today we spent an hour in the middle of a bicycle race.
The pictures. The first one is a fishing boat coming into Wood's Harbor N.S.

Feb 2013 a fishing boat just like this one left the same harbor and disappeared in a storm with 5 crewmen on board,  the Miss Alley.

Some of the others are of Fort Anne that the French and British kept fighting over its in the town of Annapolis Royal
